To set up a Microsoft Exchange-based ActiveSync account on a Samsung Galaxy, follow the following instructions
1. From the home screen open the application launcher and select 'Settings'.
2. Select 'Accounts and Sync'.
3. Select the option to 'Add Account'
4. Select the option to add a 'Microsoft Exchange' account.
5. Enter your 'Email Address' and 'Password', and then tap 'Next'
6. The Samsung Galaxy will then attempt to determine the correct settings to use automatically. If it is unable to do so, you will be promted to enter the required details manually.
7. Click on 'Edit Details'
8. Enter the required information: 'Domain & Username', 'Password' and 'Exchange Sever Name'
9. Tap Next. You will be prompted that by setting up an Exchange email account your device may have some policies applied to it relation to password usage, Tap OK.
10. If you see a message indication that there may be a problem with certificate used on the Exchange server, tap 'Continue'
11. Select the items that you wish to synchronise and then tap 'Next'
12. Enter in a suitable name for the email account. Once you are happy with this tap 'Done'
